Motorola Defy is finally coming to India on 24 Jan next week. Motorola Defy is a dust-proof and water- resistant phone, which is tailored to suit Indian condition. It is powered by TI OMAP3610 processor clocking 800 MHz, a 512 MB RAM and runs over Google’s Android 2.1 OS. This phone comes with 3.7-inch Capacitive Touchscreen display with 480×854 pixel resolution , 5 Megapixel Camera with AF and LED flash, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, 3G and A-GPS.
Other features of Defy are MOTOBLUR UI with Live Widgets on top, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and social network support like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.
Defy comes with scratch-proof gorilla glass display, that makes it suitable for harsh environments. Motorola is about to launch Android 2.2 OS update for Defy, very soon and it is said that Defy will be available for RS 20,000.
