Motorola launches MotoACTV, your personal fitness assistant

Motorola has announced the MotoACTV, a wrist-based wearable computer which is a full fitness focus system and is here to take on Apple’s iPod Nano. MotoACTV is rugged, sweat-proof device has a capacitive touchscreen which gives you control of your music. It comes paired with a wireless headset which gives you access to over 4000 songs and FM Radio. There’s a built-in heart beat rate monitor, integrated GPS for monitoring and Wi-Fi. A voice feed that keeps you updated over your workout’s progression.

Motorola’s RAZR may get Ice Cream Sandwich in early 2012m

We saw the launch of Motorola’s RAZR and Android’s next OS update, Ice Cream Sandwich, yesterday. The RAZR will carry Android 2.3 as of now on its release, but if we believe Alain Mutricy, Senior Vice President, portfolio and product management then, though RAZR has been designed for and also runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread; it may get its Android upgrade to Ice cream Sandwich 4.0 in early 2012.

Mutricy went on to say that with the ICS update users will also be able to take full advantage and incorporate all of the innovation that has gone into the new RAZR. The update will be OTA but no precise date of release is known yet. Stay tunes with us and we’ll let you know.

Motorola Fire android smartphone launched in India for Rs.8,999/-

Motorola lunched its another Android handset 'Motorola Fire' in India. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s 600 MHz S1 Snapdragon processor, 256MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, 2.8-inch QVGA display, 3MP camera, 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps with HotSpot and WiFi support. Motorola Fire is available in India at a price tag of Rs 8,999 (LetsBuy).

Motorola unveils Android 2.3 based smartphone Motorola DEFY+

Motorola has announced the launch of its latest Android 2.3 based smartphone Motorola DEFY+. Motorola DEFY+ is designed to fight against water, scratch or dust and boasts of being more sturdy against any kind of ill treatment as it is water resistant, scratch resistant and dust proof smartphone . It is the successor of its earlier version Motorola Defy but with more power and performance as it comes packed with powerful processor of 1 GHz that promises to be 25% faster. It features the latest version of Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), 3.7 inches FWVGA touch screen with screen resolution of 854×480 pixels , Corning Gorilla Glass and 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus,flash and digital zoom.
