BSNL launches special prepaid “JAI JAWAN”

BSNL has launched a special prepaid plan "JAI JAWAN" under 2G & 3G services for all Paramilitary Forces w.e.f. 29/07/2011.

Details of JAI JAWAN Prepaid Plan:

• SIM & Activation(bundled FRC) charges in Rs. (incl ST) (2G) Rs.52/- & Rs.91/-(3G)
• Initial Validity for both 2G & 3G : 30 days
• Grace period for both 2G & 3G : 15 days
• Initial Free Voice Calls : Any network : Rs.30/-
• Initial Free Video Calls : Local/STD on-net : 10 mins
• Initial free P2P Local/National SMS : 100

Validity extension Voucher RC 99 (C-TopUp) : Rs.99/- (Inclusive of Service Tax)

• Validity (w.e.f. present expiry date): 30 days
• Usage Value : Rs.75/-
• Applicability : 2G & 3G
• Voice calls to two BSNL Mobile/Fixed/WLL numbers any where in the country while in Home LSA or National Roaming : Free (subject to Maximum of 20 Minutes per day combined on two numbers)

Voice Call charges Charges:

• Local On-net/Off-net : 1ps/sec
• Reduced call charges on 2 BSNL no.s : 20ps/min
• STD On-net/Off-net : 1ps/sec
• Reduced call charges on 1 BSNL number (STD) : 30ps/min
• ISD Call : As per prepaid ISD tariff
  

Video Call Charges with 3G Connection:

• Local/STD On-net : 70ps/min
• Local/STD Off-net : Rs.1/min
• Incoming : Nil

SMS:

• Local/National : 60ps/sms
• International : Rs.5/sms

National Roaming:

Voice Call :

• Local/STD On-Net : 1ps/sec
• Local/STD Off-net : 1ps/sec
• Incoming Call : 1ps/sec

SMS:

• Local/National SMS : 60ps/sms
• International SMS : Rs.5/sms
• Incoming SMS : Nil

Video Call:

• Local/STD On-net : 70ps/min
• Local/STD Off-net : Rs.1/min
• Incoming Call : 70ps/min

All other charges are as per prepaid Saral Anant plan

The details of activation & applicability of plan:

• The Plan is applicable to central Armed Forces/paramilitary forces.
• In case Photo copy of the Identity card can't be submitted by Paramilitary personnel, then Officer In charge should certify the official and attest the Photograph.
• A Self Certificate indicating that no other connection is activated in his name under this special plan any where in India is also to be taken.
• The Paramilitary forces personnel who are enrolled under this plan may be advised to recharge with 99 (through C-Top Up) for extension of validity for 30 days.
• The "Jai Jawan" Plan is allowed to be activated through BSNL CSCs only.
• The customer can talk to 2 BSNL numbers (friends & family) free of cost for 20mins day

F & F configuration Procedure:

• For two Free Nos – PMF <1st no.><2nd no.> to 53733
• For rest of the three nos – FFE <3rd no.><4th no.><5th no.> to 53733.
