Zinio now avalilable for Android

Zinio, provider of digital media like magazines, ebooks etc has made it’s application available on Android market. But this applications will only be available for tablets and need to have Froyo atleast to run this application. There will be more than 20,000 magazines available at launch, with titles like Rolling Stone, ESPN the magazine, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, US Weekly. If you already have Zinio account for iPad or on Linux, you can sync all the content to Android (similar to Kindle).

“Zinio offers the greatest breadth for magazines today, both in terms of device and platform availability and sheer number of titles globally,” said Rich Maggiotto, Zinio president and CEO. “We continue to deliver new features and platform availability that allows our users to enjoy their favorite magazines in the most compelling way. In the coming month, we will also be adding other operating systems to the mix to allow Zinio users access to their magazines from all of their devices, as well as introducing new ways to explore and enjoy digital content,” continued Maggiotto.

Zinio is currently offering 24 latest issues of top magazines across all genres for free to those who download the application on Android and this offer is valid only till 15th of June.
