Filing tax returns will now become more easier as you can do that from your mobile device. TaxSpanner, an online income tax return filing company, for the first time in India has launched mobile version of its most popular service ‘eFile by eMail’ that will enable users to file income tax returns from their mobile handset. TaxSpanner, which boasts of having the largest customer base in the income tax e-filing space, plans to offer this service from first week of July, 2011. TaxSpanner offers range of online tax filing services for individuals and corporates. Users of this service will have to visit TaxSpanner site on their mobile device which gets directed to “eFile by eMail” application page of the mobile site. They will then be required to fill up a form with some personal details and upload Form 16 on the same page. Soon after that ITR will be filled and generated automatically.
TaxSpanner.com has been developed using open source technologies – Linux, apache, postgres, python, django and its eFile by mobile will use the same tested technologies which TaxSpanner has used in its already popular eFile by eMail application.
