TATA Indicom , the CDMA service brand of TATA Teleservices, has announced the launch of SMS Express offer for prepaid customers who love to send long and many SMS in a day. This offer gives the customer 100 free national SMS everyday for a period of 60 days along with free talk time worth Rs.29/-. In order to avail the offer, the customer need to purchase SMS Express (Alcatel OT-255 C) handset and recharge with First Recharge Voucher (FRC) of Rs 55. Post exhausting the free SMS, customers will be charged 50 paise per SMS for all SMS and all national calls will be charged at 1 paise/second. A FREE starter kit will be available on the purchase of each Alcatel SMS Express handset along with which the benefits of FRC 55 can be utilized.
The SMS Express handset is loaded with various special features such as Group SMS, Quick SMS Key, Qwerty Input, FM radio, storage capacity up to 500 SMS with 500 phone book contacts, etc. It offers the rich experience of a stylish and feature rich handset. This Qwerty keypad handset has a Quick SMS side-key wherein customers can launch a SMS composer screen to compose long SMS up to 1024 characters at a time. The handset is currently available in Titanium Grey and Cherry Red color and is reasonably priced at Rs 1149/-.
