BSNL offers gifting of talktime

BSNL has introduced gifting of talk time facility where a prepaid subscriber can transfer some talk time from one prepaid account to other prepaid account of another customer of BSNL within the same circle.

Gifting is possible from Rs. 10/- to Rs.50/- in multiples of Rs.10/-. To avail this facility, customer has to register by sending SMS as follows:

REGISTER PTOP to 54455

Intimation SMS is obtained with a six digit password to mobile (mostly the password would be 123456). Now send SMS to gift talk time as follows:

GIFT(space)MOB NO.(space)AMOUNT(space)PASSWORD to 54456

Ex: GIFT 9494555121 50 xxxxxx

To deregister subscription, send SMS as DEREGISTER PTOP to 54455.

A fee of 10% will be charged subject to amount transferred and additional Rs.3/- will be charged for SMS sent to 54455/54456 and will be deduced from the prepaid account of gifting subscriber. Gifting can be done by the subscriber for maximum of 5 times in a month.
