Nokia Drop: Drop files,images links from PC to Mobile

Nokia drop is a beta application from Nokia which let one drop files,images & links form PC to mobile device without using any cable or Bluetooth connection. This application pushes content to Symbian ^ 3 and S 60 th edition phones.

This application currently has these three features:

• change phone’s home screen wallpaper,
• send a picture to your phone
• send an interesting link to your phone, so that you can read an article on your phone without writing the long and difficult web address.

Changing a wallpaper of mobile device normally requires so many clicks but with this application it can be done instantly from the PC itself. For example if you are browsing a website and found a good picture which you want to make your phones wallpaper, you can do it from PC itself.

Nokia Drop uses Push Notification service to execute the above mentioned activities. This requires installing a Nokia Drop application on Mobile device and a browser extension on the browser.

Compatible Devices:Nokia Drop is compatible with S60 5th Edition and Symbian^3 devices. Nokia Drop has been tested to work with X6-00, 5228, 5230, 5235 Ovi Music Unlimited, 5530 Exp Music, C6-00, N97, N97 mini, N8-00, C6-01, C7-00, E7-00, 5233, c5-03, 5800 (PR4+).

Compatible Browsers:Nokia Drop extensions are compatible with Firefox 3.6 & 4.0 and Chrome (latest stable).
