BSNL launches new ISD Packs

State run telecom PSU BSNL has introduced new special tariffs coupons to offer reduced international calling and SMS charges to 18 specific countries These are being launched both for prepaid and postpaid customers for a period of ninety days from 23^rd April 2011. MTNL on the other hand has been offering attractive call charges without any special tariff coupons and charges for 26 countries both from mobile and landline. It is even offering ISD calls to six countries to customers not having ISD facility.

BSNL customers can enjoy calling at attractive call rates to 18 countries which have been segmented into four groups depending on call rates and SMS charges. International SMS charges have been offered at Rs 2.50 which are normally charged at Rs 5 . There are two options for each coupon depending on the validity i.e. 30 days and 7 days. These special tariff ISD packs are applicable for 2G as well as 3G customers. Another good feature is that there call rates are applicable in home as well as in roaming .
