Vodafone, India’s leading telecom service provider, in association with Research in Motion ( RIM ), is organizing free service camps at select Vodafone Stores across Bangalore from 1 February to 14 February 2011. All BlackBerry customers, irrespective of their service provider, can get their phones serviced for free. The service camps will be held throughout the week at select Vodafone Stores in Indiranagar, Koramangala, Church Street, Jayanagar and Whitefield between 11 AM to 8 PM
Blackberry customers visiting the Vodafone outlets will be treated to a host of special offers during this week. As part of this initiative, they can win free Blackberry handsets if they influence friends and family to buy a BlackBerry phone or by participating in a contest organized by Vodafone in partnership with Radio Indigo, where listeners will get the opportunity to win free BlackBerry phones by answering simple questions.
Additionally, Customers can also avail offers such as purchasing a new handset at discounted rates on exchange of the old one. BlackBerry users can also download free applications; upgrade their software and even get the trackballs of their handsets replaced at these centers.
