Mobile- telephony and internet service provider MTS today announced that it will offer free mobile broadband internet to Meru Cab passengers in Delhi and Mumbai.
Leonid Musatov, the chief marketing officer of Sistema Shyam Teleservices Limited (SSTL) parent company of MTS, said, "Our partnership with Meru Cabs has been specially designed to offer seamless data connectivity to users on the go, both in Delhi and in Mumbai."
There is no time or data limit for using the service. Travelers can ask the cab driver for an MTS Mblaze internet dongle and can use it as much as they want to while traveling.
As per an MTS spokesperson, this service will certainly facilitate cricket fans to be updated while traveling. As of now, it is scheduled to run for 45 days, after which the company will decide whether to continue the service or not.
With the Cricket World Cup round the corner, such a service would also enable cricket enthusiasts traveling through the city to connect their laptops via mobile broadband and check out the latest match scores and updates.
