The latest mobile to join the league of exclusive high-end smart phones in India is the Dell Venue. Dell has officially launched its Android 2.2 Froyo device at the Bangalore Fashion Week for Rs.29,990. The Venue was already selling on the online shopping website Flipkart for Rs.28,999.Dell Venue comes with 4.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with Gorilla Technology. It is powered by 1GHz Qualcomm based Snapdragon Processor, comes with on-board Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS.
Other features include , 8 Megapixel camera with LED Flash and 4X digital Zoom, supports 720p HD video recording, 1GB internal memory which can be expandable upto 32GB with microSD, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi, Microsoft Exchange Support and 1400mAh battery. Dell Venue is available in India for Rs 29,999.

As I mentioned above, the phone is priced at Rs.29,990 and will have touch competition after phones like Google Nexus S are officially launched in India. The “Venue” is also available with Aircel SIM (with some freebies) as the network has partnered with Dell.
