In Communic Asia event at Singapore, Sony Ericsson has announced its two new Android smartphones. The newly introduced Android devices are Xperia Ray and Xperia Active. These Xperia family members will be made available in selected markets starting Q3 this year. Xperia Ray running Google Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread OS is well designed with 3.3 inch scratch resistant display with Mobile Bravia Engine. Xperia Ray is powered by 1GHz processor, 8 megapixel camera with Exmor R sensor. Sony Ericsson Xperia Active with a rugged desing is dust and water proof device. Xperia Active sports with a 1GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Add-ons include, an arm band support to go with GPS and Barometer.
