AirTel and Aircel are set to launch the much awaited Apple iPhone4 tomorrow along with special prepaid and postpaid plans. Apple iPhone 4 16 GB has been priced at Rs 34500 while 32GB avatar will be available at Rs 40900. While Aircel is offering only to its postpaid segment, AirTel on the other hand has designed its iPhone4 plans to offer discounts to its prepaid and postpaid customers and has better range of plans than Aircel. Aircel has designed its money back plans in such a fashion that a customer can recover 50% to 100% of the cost of the iPhone4 over a period of 24 months. AirTel is offering 50% discount on the all the rental value and recharge value in postpaid and prepaid respectively. After the expiry of the free usage AirTel customers will be charged 50p for all Local & STD calls, Re1 for SMS (Local/ National) and applicable data tariff as per the subscribed pack. In case AirTel user has not subscribed any data pack, standard browsing charges of 30p / 30kb is applicable.
